1. Start ubuntuone-client-applet, connect to ubuntuone, make sure syncdaemon is
connected

Syncdaemon is still unusable with default values.
ubuntuone-client-preferences sets 0 (zero) as the default value for both
read limit and write limit. When syncdaemon encounters zero it:

I have tested this with ubuntuone client 1.0.3-0ubuntu1 (karmic-
proposed).
The syncdaemon does not crash anymore when the system returns from
suspend.
However, in case a file is being uploaded while computer is suspended
then syncdaemon becomes stuck in
STANDOFF_WAITING_WITH_NETWORK_WITH_BOTH st
1. Start ubuntuone, verify that it is working and it is ready for file uploads
2. Put file to the directory, wait until it is picked up for upload.
3. Verify that upload is started by u1sdtool --current-transfers.
4. Before upload compeltes, suspend the system.
5. drink some tea
6. Unsuspend the sy

The original description stated that the preferences are not saved.
Now preferenced are saved but it does not work quite right.
I have copied Joshua's response to bug #509740 which reports the issue
with focus-related saving of values.

As I see in Lucid Lynx current, /tmp is now just a subdir of /.
In Karmic /tmp was actually tmpfs mount, was this an intended change in Lucid?

It looks like chmod() operation is failing because ubuntuone is not
owned by the user that is now running the system. If that is the case
the output of the commands given above may help in diagnosing the issue.
