Problem still exits in 14.04.
Gigabyte GA-E350N motherboad with Radeon HDMI graphics onboard. I have
tried everything listed in these solutions and nothing seems to work.
Just updated last week.

No audio regardless of trying everything listed in bug #864735. I have tried
adding radeon.audio=1 to grub and still no sound.
