Binary package hint: unity
Only the "application - file manager" icon appears at the top of the
screen. Menus no longer appear as well. In the previous releases of
natty this was not the case. In the prior releases a number of icons
appeared in the upper right hand corner of

In my case I was running from a LiveCD install.
Prior to the crash of the clock. The following apps unexpectedly exited and
asked to be reloaded:

Hi Bryce,
I was running a Live install from the natty-desktop-i386.iso built on
20-Jan-2011. As Ubuntu was booting a dialog box appeared stating that my HW
was not able to support Unity and gave me the option of choosing the Classic
User session. I chose this option and Ubuntu came up. Immediat
