So, I'm Ubuntu Hardy, with nm-applet trying to store a network key in
the keyring. It tells me it's locked and i have to put in my passkey.
Instead of opening up, it tells me i got it wrong. I'm absolutely sure
that's the right password, bec
this is fix commited? I tried, and installed the update, and gksu only
pops up for SYNAPTIC PACKAGE MANAGER now. WHAT IS GOING ON? I have an
operating system to fix for my friend? and me!

command "sudo synaptic" and everything is working! I figured it must be
gksu, so I type in a terminal "gksu". That works, so I try going to

same here... Look at the bug report I did on the same thing if you want
to know what i did... and still after I did this, I don't know what's
happening... Maybe downgrade to 2.0.0-5ubuntu2?

Well, I added a user on my laptop and gave it permissions to use
wireless, but unfortunately you can't save anything in the keyring if
you're not on a user that's not the first one you created...

I have a problem like this too. I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 and I got lost
during this thread. There isn't a shutdown or restart button. What's
going on? And, when I hibernate, then turn it on, my computer crashes.
It seems there is no possible way to shut this down without it crashing
when it's trying t
This is a security issue because at the login screen I found that with
no shutdown options, my computer could login with ANY username and ANY
password. Lock Screen doesn't help.
