The spice packages are only built for x86. Then qemu is built with spice
support disabled.
It looks like version 12.11 or newer only will work because older
versions use x86 specific atomics instead of the compiler builtins.

How do I verify without updated kernel and installer initrd? The install
does not appear to pick up the new libdebian-installer. There is also a
kernel fix already in raring, but not in the install kernel that is
needed for ECX-2000.

I have proposed enabled in my preseed and the installer is as specified
(which is from Apr 19). Attaching the syslog. There is no indication it
has loaded libdebian-installer.
Midway needs 3.8.0-28.41 or later.

The LL debug config option is probably not configured for the highbank
uart. It is fixed compile time selection currently.

The 1.1.0 version of dtc is quite old and missing some features like
include files in device-tree source. The current mainline version is
1.2.0, but head of tree may be better as 1.2.0 is 2 years old.
