Yes I have the restricted modules installed. Also, the mouse pointer doesn't appear when the system freezes. I'm getting stuck at the splash screen (Ubuntu logo with the progress bar). The mouse pointer doesn't appear on-screen until after this screen (when the progress bar completes). -- deskt
