Shockingly, it doesn't work. I too was frustrated with the list of unsubscribes. In the last hour, I have thrice unsubscribed to this bug using the unsubscribe button. Yet, I get more emails, and when I visit the bug in my browser, I appear to still be subscribed. Something is not as it should be.
