Hi, I also encountered this problem.
the backlight is black when boot up from CD.
After I add a "i915.modeset=0 in the kernel command line", I'm able to boot
into desktop, and add the option to /etc/default/grub, and run "update-grub", I
can enter to system, but no brightness control, no virtual
alright, i got it, I'll do it for debian right now, thanks :)

Thanks @Brandon, I will update this as long as I get the chance to look into it.
Anyway, if you want to get that window to disappear, you could open an editable
application like gedit, and press CTRL + SPACE to close ibus.

Hi,This is tested in beta1 release, and looks like it's fixed, but there are
two problems I'm not sure it comes with.
1. Click dash show nothing except the search bar
2. After the installation finished (Simplified Chinese selected at the first
page), it prompts language support is not completely
After I've run the command and re-login the system, the multi-monitor
seems to be working

Looks like this discussion goes like in this[1] way, and guys, please

I understand the code will affect lots of people, but virulent words
will help nothing. Please respect the developers as they are volunteers,

I see the names are consistent across MAAS UI and deployment. However,
during the commissioning stage, I guess the biosdevname is not
installed, so the names on MAAS are all ethX, so after the system are
provisioned, the names in the OS are all ethX. I would rather see emX
and pXpX instead.

something to launch an application ,and click "Super" key to launch dash
search bar in order to start another application, the ibus popup menu is
disappeared, and not able to show up anymore (characters selection

disappear, but the problem is the letters you have input in the dash
should be displayed. In this case, "zhong", the pinyin letter for "中"
should be placed in the dash search bar.

need to do is just run "sudo dpkg -i linux-
image-2.6.32-24-generic_2.6.32-24.39_i386.deb" (if your arch is i386),
