have had no problems.
IIRC I already did a BIOS update, but I'm not absolutely sure. I know I

I had to re-install gnome-core as most of it had been removed by the

when I wake it up again all searches on the addressbooks fail, even if
Iquite and restart Evolution. I have to logout and login again to get
things working.

I have the same problem in Ubuntu 12.10 with gnome. I am not running
apache, it is a pure desktop system.
Even though I cannot start applications from the menus, I can start the
self same appliations from the command line.

happening after a few days uptime and affects all applications started
from the menus.
It is still possible to run the applications from the command line.

I have just installed the 'lat' ldap browser from synaptic. On trying to
fire it up I get the error

On opening the lid the screen is clearly locked. If I type the password
into the invisible input box it unlocks properly. Alternatively ctl-
alt-F3, login to the tty, and "pkill -9 screensaver", but then I have to
re-enable the screensaver
