System->Preferences->Sound : Allows sound to be set to 150%. This gives a good
volume. We can use the volume control applet or Buttons to reduce the sound.

logs in /var/logs. It hasn't surfaced for last three days.

I realize that "rebuild" isn't sufficient here. The thing I hear is that
there was a mistaken assumption about VA size in Thunderbird and there
were fixes in upstream firefox / js engine for it and this part was not
rebuilt when Thunderbird was rebuilt for this release.

I had the same problem and then realized that my schroot config had the
following line
script-config=desktop/config
While updating fstab in the default case might work in some cases , I
had to update fstab in /etc/schroot/desktop/fstab and then it all
worked.

newer 6.11.0-17-generic kernel on Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS. I see that the machine
powering up but I get a blank screen. I can't even ssh from a another machine.
