In my case, the bug was not in f-spot - it was related to glx and the
PROPRIETARY graphic card driver. When I connected a second monitor to the
notebook with an ati graphic card, glx did not start - even the fgl_glxgears
did not work. When I disconnected the second monitor, glx was working and

just FYI: I've been using the SVN version of kile since you put it on
your PPA and while it crashed on me two or three times it never happend
during saving a file, so I would too consider this bug fixed.

but with nvidia's proprietary driver (185.18.36-0ubuntu8). Also, it is

Today runs my weekly Ubuntu update. After the update I recognized that the
problem was gone. To verify it, I reboot (was not required by the todays

I also run into this "HcDoneHead not written back; disabled" problem
with the latest self compiled kernel 4.8.4 on debian 8. And the
disappearing device is an "Eaton 5S 700" ups. It works with the last
4.7.10 without problems. So for the moment i will stick to 4.7.10.

Text scaling factor
Hi dilshak,
your tipp doesn't help. Setting the default list or Icon display for
Nautilus works and ist not the problem repoerted with this bug. The
problem is: for every induvidual folder we would like to have that
Nautilus is saving the display format. Befor 14.04 it was working in
this way. For
in serial get no problem.
To circumvent my problem I have writen a pearl script which monitors the
cpu temp every 10s and switch to governor powersave at 82°C and back to
conserative at 73°C.

I would like to take a look in the source where the VID is set to
understand the problem. But I don't find the rigth source module.
As a summary the top power comsuming tasks are normal and need not to be
identified.

I own 7 usb drives. on 5 the safely remove the drive works without any

Hi,
I have the same problem on my TP R60.
Adding (127, 66, 32767) at the end to /etc/thinkfan.conf lead me to have
the fan running at disengaed by auto. This results in seltem having
temparute over 85°C.
Further I found, that the VID is to high by default. If I set the governer to
userspace 1.83
