you not to close bug. Providing the missing package is not the solution
for the problem in update-manager.
The update-manager should not behave like that in first place.

I faced something similar. Since its really my first time, I filed a
new bug report (216123) which has aptly been marked as duplicate of this
one.
However, in my situation, it does remember the username. And its not
able to show any events at all. Basically the application just crashes.

docs.google.com, the cursor suddenly jumps to another part of the
paragraph and typing continues from there. It happens all the time but
the action which causes the cursor to jump cannot be isolated.

I identified the reason for it. When I type my hand hovers around the
keypad. The sensitiveness of the keypad makes the cursor jump. I dont
know if these requests are entertained but would it be possible to
disable the keypad when typing. When I disable the keypad manually it
works ok.

I am experiencing this bug, but a variant. After a suspend, reloading
the module doesn't work. The command
# modprobe e1000e
doesn't finish executing -- i.e. the module doesn't reload properly.
Furthermore, there is very high CPU utilization after typing in the
command.

I have windows 10 installation on UEFI mode in other partition. I
recently removed Ubuntu 16.04 partition to do a fresh installation of
Ubuntu 18.04. But when I install it through bootable USB, I get the
error during grub-2 installation process.

authentication.
