I followed manual at http://www.phlerion.com/blog/exopc/exopc-ubuntu/

the given message is always:

I am sorry, the bug is only my mistake.
I had "alias tail='tail -50'" enabled, and that command option stopped
working in newer versions of Ubuntu (I am not sure, if it can't be
considered as bug).
Anyway, thanks for your tip. I am closing the bug as invalid.

Yes, it is still not working on today updated Maverick. I forgot to
write one important fact: it is not working only with effects switched
off.

When I set keyboard shortcut for "move to desktop" or "move window to
desktop" to ctrl-y or ctrl-alt-y in "keyboard shortcuts", the shortcut
is not working after reboot. I am using Czech keyboard.
It should be pointed out, that on Czech keyboard are swapped "Z" and "Y"
keys (
