I am using the xmonad window manager, which does tiling of windows. In
OOo, when I open a file chooser, the chooser gets managed like a normal
window, which usually means the window I'm working in suddenly takes up
half the screen and the other half is taken up by the chooser.

I would like to analyse the usage of my root filesystem. I'm not
interested in usage of anything in /media (cd-roms are immutable of
course, and there's plenty of space on my Windows partition). However,
currently baobab only lets you analyse
By "filesystem" I don't mean "the entire filesystem", I mean "one of my
filesystems".

join, so all the automatic channel list does is annoy me and fill up my
window. There should be a preference to turn this listing off.

The lib32gmp3 package contains 32-bit versions of libgmp in 64 bit
Ubuntu. The shared libraries are installed under /emul. I have never
heard of this hierarchy before; it is not in the FHS, and all the other
32-bit library packages install under [/usr]/lib32:

any more.
