There, one of the Evo developers suggested I use the Edit -> Plugins
menu item and find the "Prefer plain-text" plugin, and disable it.
I did that, and now my invites show up properly and seem to work as
expect
Note that using a local files is not a reasonable workaround for
enterprise environments... the whole point of using NIS is to centralize
management of the maps.
At the moment I cannot recommend Hardy to any environment that relies on
NIS distribution of automount maps (which is actually, as I say

kernel. Yesterday I upgraded to 2.6.24-19, and I got this same problem.
I did the install and the reboot, and afterwards X came up in failsafe

I added a new /etc/init.d script that just uses logger to generate a
message every second and set it up to start automatically at S99. After
rebooting a number of times it seems that the system goes about 85
seconds (lowest I got was 84; highest 87) after it starts my script at
S99, then reboots.

I'm using Ubuntu 6.06.1, with window list applet 2.14.3. I _believe_
this is a bug in the window list applet but it could be somewhere
else...
I prefer to see all my windows for all desktops in my window list, so I
use the window list Prefer
It doesn't make any sense for something like tomboy not to be session
managed. It's a note-taking application: it's one of those things that
you expect to always be there (if you use it). Heck, even things like
gnome-terminal are session managed!!

Sorry Cimmo, but you're wrong. A number of people have confirmed that
this bug still happens on Gutsy upgrades, EVEN WHEN using the upgrade-
manager to perform the upgrade. In fact Alex, whom you responded to,
was using the official upgrade method when he ran into the problem.

Public bug reported:
I just upgraded to Gutsy RC1, containing OO.o 2.3 (previously I was
using Feisty with OO.o 2.2).
I have an odt document with a table in it. In one column are email
hyperlinks. In OO.o 2.3 when I try to edit these hyperlinks, OO.o
crashes:
1) I put my cursor into the email
I ran it again and attached GDB. Sure enough, it's dumping core with a
segv. Here's the stack trace:
