I don't know what's wrong, some people say that Adept doesn't handle
dependencies as well as apt-get, or as well as aptitude, but I never upgrade
my system using a graphical application. :)

Yes, it happens exactly after loading up KDE. Killing it and restarting it
sometimes solved the crashing. Strigidaemon is a poor piece of software. Why
is is installed by default on the desktop?

This has long been fixed. In fact and as always since I installed Tribe 5,
switching from Adept to aptitude on the command line perfectly installs any
package that Adept failed to. So it has been fixed for me the first day it
appeared.

PS/2 driver. It must be that the firmware inside the ALPS works with
generic PS/2 multi-button mice so the touchpad firmware is
pre-programmed to set the right edge of the touchpad to buttons 4 and
