bug confirmed on Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 64bit fresh install.
I've noticed no functionality issues, all seems working fine, and I
don't have installed bluefish yet.

I had the same problem in Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit, even installing skype
from repositories than downloading the package from Skype officiale
site.
I solved (it seems) with the suggestion from Diego Gaviola, disabling
skype to handle Pulse Audio Mixer.

Hi Giancarlo, I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 on Vaio FZ21E. The module is the
same (IWL3945) and also the WiFi Card (Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG).
Looking in Synaptic I' cant find 'linux-backports-modules-compat-
wireless-2.6.36-2.6.32-27-generic', but only 'linux-backports-modules-
headers-oneiric-gener
UPDATE: I workarounded the bug doing as follow:
After suspending, if network comes down, from terminal:
sudo rmmod
sudo modprobe
To view which driver you have give this command: 'sudo lshw -C network'
It should give back something like:

product: PRO/Wire

Hi all, I installed Wicd and removed network-manager and now all works fine.
