Of course, your mind may vary, and probably both Qt and the font
configuration has problem.

I don't know whether WQY is the best font or not. But I know it is much better
to use a sans-serif-style font as the default screen font than a serif-style
one.
Yes WQY is not perfect, and IMO it is far inferior than the STXIHEI
(华文细黑) and SIMHEI (黑体), but we can improve it, can't we? And it is
t style is *expected*, then we *should* see different style
anyway, and we *should* see different chinese font in the same page.
Should we ignore the font settings of the web page, just because *we* think
the same style is expected?

I am using the default installation method... not sure if it's OEM one.
Since the 7.04 final version is released, I am downloading the final
version and see if the problem solved or if I had missed something
during the installation.
I'll come back after I had tested with the 7.04 final version.
I had just downloaded and test under 7.04final release cd, this problem seems
to have been solved.
So, thanks everybody that the final release version of 7.04 does NOT
have that issue.

In fact, Fang Qian has written a gtk+ based gui application for this.
Though I personally think it is way too overkill to write a gui
application for this simple task, a less-than-5-line CLI script is
enough for this. At least the CLI does not introduce gtk+ dependency
to kde users.
