Binary package hint: network-manager
The default AT initialization string fails with this 3g modem. NM sends
"ATZ E0 V1 X4 &C1 +FCLASS=0" but only gets "ERROR" and there is no
config file to modify this string.
The modem works well with wvdial but I have to use only a "ATZ"

I downloaded the Ubuntu 9.04 Beta liveCD and test the modem. It works
very well with Network Manager 0.7.1~rc3.1.git4cf2da146-0ubuntu1.

Internet connection with this modem is too slow).
