This bug appears here as well. JDE makes incorrect assumptions about the location of JAR files (and some of them are not even installed by itself or dependencies). It doesn't sound right to put JAR files in site-lisp, and I think what needs to be changed is the initialize-instance method in jde.e

This was not an error with WiFi cards, since my computer is a regular desktop and doesn't have one. It was connected with usplash, though. After an update of that package it stopped hanging on boot, but would segfault due to missing theme for my screen resolution (or something in this direction,
