The previous keyboard icon in panel really stood out as requiring
improvement and I think this new one is a big improvement, so I would
like to keep it.
Looking at Paul's sshot (settings-keyboard.png), the icon is not ideal -
the contrast isn't great but I'm inclined to agree that it's passable

So it's just a naming issue then? Ideally we'd revert to (Paul's last

icon.

@Marco - Good job, thanks - it looks great :)
@ Paul - I have been discussing this with Cimi, we're using a PNG at the

for scaling.

Yay! I am pleased we have settled at 0px borders :)
I think we want to make the selected window shadow a little more
translucent though, as on some machines the contrast looks overly
dominant and perhaps a little unrefined/heavy-handed (my Dell Vostro V13
for example).

Hi Vish,
Sorry - I'm well aware that the icons need to be pixel aligned to a

within the bounds of a launcher tile and do actually require a different
treatment for their tiles. The inclusion of this outline was an ove

I think minimised windows should still appear with a preview and an icon

difficulties super-sizing the icons (more difficult) and should make it

For Ambiance - Ubuntu Dark Purple - HEX: #2C001E RGB: 44 0 30

I think Jay actually means increasing the amount/intensity of glow
around the icons - they are currently white so the solid areas can't get
any brighter. Mark, we'll look at this as a possible solution first, it
would be a shame to have to dull things down.

What about an empty 'default' window rather than a live preview? I agree
that the best solution is higher quality icons but that's currently a
far-reaching problem...
