Currently, when updates that require a restart are done (ie: linux-
kernel), the user is advised to do a full system restart for these
changes to be effective.
Instead of doing a full restart as currently done, the user can be
prompted to restart using kexec, to avoid the BIO
Num lock fix worked here, though none of the others do.
The issue seems to ocurr when Banshee is running, and the initial forum thread
reported KeePass as well. Both are mono-based, so this seems to me that mono
and java are causing this.
