Same problem here:
Two soundcards (1. onboard Intel (HDA), 2. PCI SB Audigy (CA0106)); after
rebooting, Gnome sound settings (almost) always sets back HDA as the default
sound mixer. Whats interesting, it only "Default Mixer Track" that is not saved
- "Audio Conferencing" settings (right above)

Try messing around with MaxZ value in 10-wacom.config (or 50-wacom.config) in
/usr/lib/X11/xorg.conf.d/.
I had similar issue on my Lenovo TabletPC, and it turns out that setting MaxZ
value to 256 (or close) solved the pressure issue - maybe this is the same
problem. Lenovo has 256 steps of press
Just to note: lately I've installed xf86-input-wacom from git and the
problem seems to be solved there.

@Francesco: I had the same problem as Helmut's with gksu. I removed at-spi and
tried mousetweaks from your PPA. Problem seems to be gone.
But another thing I've noticed (not sure if this issue was in original
mousetweaks): when I release left mouse button after after a while (to get

@Francesco: thx for the advice.
And to the unavoidable left click: it makes synthetic right click quite
