Binary package hint: amarok
Amarok, when playing m4a audio files, cuts the first few seconds (or

attention to the resolu

Binary package hint: vim-latexsuite
Latex-suite isn't loaded when opening a typical multifile project file,
say something that starts with \chapter{}. It is loaded if I add a first

I had this problem reported in bug #73057 but then I noticed it was already

The above kernel does not boot, all packages up-to-date (udev 103-0ubuntu4).
Like I said on the other bug's comment, kernel 2.6.17-10 boots fine with the
same packages.

I second that. I upgraded to feisty, and the partitions disappeared from
the desktop and places menu, although /etc/fstab remains unchanged and
the partitions are mounted correctly in /media. "sudo /etc/init.d/dbus
restart" makes them appear, but without the proper labels (they show

I confirm it also. Restarting dbus fixes the problem, but the labels
dont show up (only hda1, hda4 shows up)

I don't know why, but now my fn-f8 does not work. It doesn't do
anything. I guess that my updates must have did that. Now I can't even
output nothing at an external VGA. What is going on?

I had another go at trying to understand what was causing the problem.
As it turned out, it is nothing to do with latex-suite itself, but with
file type detection in vim. Using default settings (AFAIK), a file
beginning with a \documentclass command is detected as LaTeX, while one
beginning with a
