The toolbars are customizable so their "intended" location is arguable.
Firefox has allowed placing the bookmarks toolbar alongside the menus
for a very long time, so I believe it is best to assume this is a
feature and not a bug.
I think both Firefox and OpenOffice contain bugs in their

I made a patch that add "mppe-optional" option to pppd config
Set both "require-mppe" and "mppe-optional" in pppd config at it works as
expected, allowing both encrypted and non-encrypted connections.
Not sure it's clear way to do it, but it works well for me.

I am not sure. But i suspect KDE-3.5.8 upgrade on 7.04. I've done it
right before 7.10 release. But in any case i've never install xserver-
xgl explicitly. Also it's not default for Gutsy, because it's not listed
as a dependency.

I have the same problem. On my Dell Inspiron 1300. VIdeo Intel I915GM
When i am using it direct rendering is not enabled:

The error is not in hal. The problem is that there is no policykit in
kubuntu/ubuntu distributions. Try to watch you .xsession-errors while plug in
ntfs-3g device and you'll see something like this:

Ubuntu 10.04 program MDi program writen on C++ using QT, some black areas (bad
redraw of some widgets) in MDI Form after moving a mouse. If i maximize form,
the bug doe'n appear. If i ubmaximize it after all works ok. The bug doe'nt

I've previously used Ubuntu 9.04 on Asus P5QL-E, and the built-in Atheros 8121

Now, I've installed 10.04, and it is "UNCLAIMED", i.e. not detected, though the

And also I've updated my BIOS somewhere between 9.04 and 10.04 - maybe
