This solution works for me:
System Settings->Advanced->Service Manager and turning off "Detecting
RANDR (monitor) changes"
On KDE4 it's in the settings window.
I turn it off the service and the screen see correctly.

On various laptops from Sony, HP, Samsung and others there is no way to
control backlight brightness. In case of Sony e.g. on Vaios with 8-series

The latest update spoils my Vaio VGN-SZ6RMN completely. Now I hear only

No. Over 2 months with Jaunty, and 1-2 suspend/resume cycles per day,
this crash only happened 2 or 3 times. The only special circumstance I
can think of is, it appeare
