turned off, but I think that it should still be shown when wifi is turned on.

Oh, and regarding the purpose of turning on wifi when in flight mode: I
often do that to increase battery life. It can be quite helpful if you
know that you won't need a network connection or that your phone won't
be able to establish a network connection anyway.

I did know about the bug report and it says that it is something they have
already fixed. The bad thing is that Ubuntu ships an old version of Go instead
of the current 1.3.3 release which seems to cross-compile fine for me.

fails to do something.
Last time my system settings broke completely. When doing a "cat

Do a fresh install of ubuntu-trm/14.09 r5. Open the manage all scopes view.
Only scopes with local results will be shown.
Search for the name of an online scope (e.g. "7digital") and click on it.
Online scopes will be included in the manage all scop
Ok, this really turns out to appear due to a missing internet
connection. I'll rephrase the bug.

- with the following output:
+ When the device is not connected to the internet, polling a GMail account
fails with "dial tcp: lookup www.googleapis.com: no such host". In that case,
the penalty count
To add some information which might be valuable:
If the option does not appear in the indicator, then it has already not
been there since boot time. If it is available at boot, it won't
disappear. If it's not available at boot, it won't appear later.
