In the attached file, I have commented out the section that caused the
bug in question. However, in commenting it out, the mixer does not
operate on the HDMI output, so it is impossible to mute or change the
sound level.

BTW: my work-around was to comment out the extra entries in
/usr/share/lirc/remotes/imon/lircd.conf.imon-pad so that each key is
mentioned only once. That prevents the duplicates for me for the time
being (obviously not a permanent solution). That's why Dependencies.txt

That makes sense. You install the software, then after that you
configure it (with capture cards, etc). This crash happened on first
boot-up after install. I think the software should be able to tolerate
being started up in order to configure it. I would guess this is an
upstream issue. Maybe the s
