Same problem with custom system. Motherboard is ABIT IP35-E bought

Also, I can't seem to add irqpoll as a default option for the kernels in
menu.lst with kopt :( Grub doesn't seem to resp

I upgraded my laptop from 10.04 to 10.10, and I can no longer connect to
my 5Ghz/40Mhz-wide wireless N network. Here's a summary what works and

* Any random Wireless G network with 10.10 or Windows 7: Works!
* Home 5Ghz/40Mhz-wide network with Windows 7: Works!
