from the PPA) as such the bug has been marked as incomplete.
You can either install the latest banshee from the ppa or download a
daily live cd of what will be the next version of Ubuntu and run the CD
in live mode just to see

Am running 8.04 but it's been present for many versions now.
I agree it could be a video issue, I don't have the time to confirm if
it occurs without compiz at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised if
it doesn't.

when banshee
