After a while, Compiz will stop responding to the keyboard or mouse. The
numlock light will go out. When I press the power button, the log out/turn off
dialog comes up, but with no keyboard or mouse, I have to hard reboot.

installed the firmware, and automatically started b43legacy.
And then you removed network-manager... how exactly did you configure it

second. Changing it to 5 gives an update that is about 1 second.
I think this is common to all inputs like this... the require a Return
to set the value. If you close out, then it won't save it.

I did a base install of the Beta, put in the firmware for bcm43xx, rmmodded b43
and ssb, loaded bcm43xx, and updated and stuff over the wireless. I then

Interesting, Gnome preferences are set to Epiphany. I changed it to Firefox,
and it started to insist on opening Firefox.
So the bug seems to be that it's ignoring the KDE preferences and using the

Yeah, naught101 has a different card. krop and I have the same one. I guess
that's the difference?

Yes, this is true, neither Edit nor File contains that command.
I don't see that the Edit > Delete is enabled, though, on Hardy.
