After installing the updates when I click on the Connect button there is
an extremely brief connection (1 sec) made to the server before

As far as i'm concerned this issue goes well beyond being specific to a
particular wireless Ralink chipset, also affects Intel and possibly other
chipsets as well which means the issue is on the software side. Therefore
it would be pointless to try out a mainstream kernel.

the wireless modules. That is "orinoco, orinoco_pci, prism2_pci, hostap

I just cannot seem to override a network interface name on a Ubuntu Server
16.04 beta 2 fresh install.
Reproduce steps were tried on both VirtualBox 4 and VMware Player 7.

Just made an observation: Because I had to take a bunch of screenshots
and wanted to use my big screens, I reset the scaling to 1.0 and
rebooted. As expected, spectacle worked. Then I set the scaling back to
1.25 and re-logged. And spectacle still works! It even survived a
reboot! I would encourage

I can confirm the bug exists on the Ubuntu kernel 5.15.0-27 and by
adding intel_iommu=off to /etc/default/grub solves the issue.

I can't see pictures in emails or on some pictures on websites.
Sometimes it just shows the bottom 20mm of pictures. The wallpaper is
just a blank white screen.
