I have the same behaviour and I can reproduce it mounting the iso image
and launching 'wine umenu.exe'.
The bug is present in umenu.exe (which is launched by autorun) but I
haven't found the source code of this file in the webpage of wubi
project.

I think my case is similar.
It happens when I do modprobe -r ssb; modprobe -r wl; modprobe wl; (Note that I
did it several times in the attached log).
