I added the "x." There is no update-grub.log. My computer does not appear to be using grub 2, but the old grub. I upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10 (not a clean install) and I don't think grub was ever upgraded to the new version. On Sat, Jan 9, 2010 at 6:54 AM, Jean-Baptiste Lallement < jeanbaptiste.
