This became a problem for me on upgrade to lucid - the machine started
shuttdown when inactive for longer than the inactive period, rather than
suspending.
Looking into the problem, it seems the GConf key “/apps/gnome-power-
manager/actions/sleep_type_battery” is set to hibernate, rather than
susp
No, I haven't seen it in lucid or a while in karmic.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: polipo
I find my system-wide instance of Polipo crashing a few times per day,
which is pretty annoying. The attached upstart config uses respawn to
ensure it is always running. Having it included in the .deb would be
awesome.

Public bug reported:
The attached oops occurred after plugging the camera in, trying to
access the device, running a program which failed to select it, killing
the program then unplugging the camera.
It had been previously working okay, with a few suspend/resume cycles in

Definitely a suspend/resume issue, I can reproduce the camera failing to
work (but not the oops) by doing a suspend/resume.
After resuming, I'm getting the following in kern.log:

> device using uhci_hcd and address 4
Ah, yeah, this is what I'm seeing. Sorry for not getting the shot done.
The totem issue seems to be fixed though.

Hmm, this might be related to Bug #443278 since I couldn't get the
