Hello,
I also still have this problem with kernel 2.6.23.1. Please repoen the bug, it
is preventing me from using/testing the rt2x00-wireless driver. A little bit
oftopic, but please merge the new wireless stack with the main kernel as soon
as possible (including hostapd as soon as possible). C
Hello again,
just to mention (again) that I'm using 64-bit linux on an AMD-processor
(Archlinux). I suppose thatthis bug doesn't have anything to do with
http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/3/31/51? I suppose ... not.
Greetings,

Hello,
I looked at the kernelbug-conversation, about this and it seems that
they just removed the message. Seemingly, the don't think that this is
causing any problems.

Hello,
I also experience this bug. Unlike others it blocks me from loading the
rt2x00-driver (which causes the error). I am using kernel 2.6.22.9 for
x86-64 (Archlinux, so almost vanilla).
Here is the error-message:

Hello all.
Well, I misinterpreted this bug seemingly. For me too, this bug isn't
fixed! This is a big problem with linux. It prevents me from using
hardware that should be functional (rt61pci-module). I could use it in
the past, but from a certain point I started getting this message and
now my ha
Hello,
this bug has been solved for me in archlinux (quite vanilla) with kernel
2.6.25. My wireless card works now. I looked at the dmesg-messages and I
have the impression that ACPI has been improved. I noticed that the
kernel detected a bug in my ACPI-tables or so and corrected it. Not sure

Hello,
I'm no Ubuntu-user (not at home atleast), but using Archlinux with

Hello,
I'm having the same issue on Karmic. There is no sound coming out of the
headset, although I can see it in pulseaudio. I read on the forum that
this might be an issue with applications sending a stereo-stream to the
headset: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1315465&page=2?
