Public bug reported:
If I install kernel 3.13-rc2 and boot into it, it will, after some time
(usually around the time it gets to the login screen), immediately
reboot. I will test to see what kernel the issue started with.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10
Package: linux-image-3.11.0-1
The issue is caused by radeon.dpm being enabled by default in kernel
3.13. When enabling dpm with this AMD A8-6600K (Radeon HD 8570D) the
system will immediately reset shortly after the display is initiated.
** Summary changed:
- Kernel 3.13-rc2 Immediately Resets/Reboots
+ [radeon dpm] Kernel 3.
Well of course it happens with the stock kernel. It doesn't matter what
kernel is used. Kernel 3.13 is just the only kernel that enables DPM by
default. Regardless, it shouldn't happen period, testing or not.

then I wasn't able to change volume with the volume slider which
controls ALSA's Master control, but after installing the rest of ubuntu-
desktop I completely lost sound on my Recon3D.

After a fourth reboot with the Liquorix 3.11 kernel, I've lost sound
again with my headphones. I can get sound from the green speaker out
port, but cannot get sound from the headphone port.

I found a fix for the front headphone port. It seems by default, CA0132
has HP/Speaker and HP/Speaker Auto Detect muted. Using alsamixer and
navigating to the control and pressing M unmutes them.

'sameplerate audio resampler error: cannot resample: Input and Output data

For me it wasn't related to the kernel at all. I'm currently running a
Trusty install that I installed on another machine on my Sabertooth
990FX and it's been working fine. I haven't tried installing 13.10 or
14.04 from scratch yet though.

My Raring install is using kernel 3.12. I'm planning on reformatting my
SSD later and installing a fresh copy of Ubuntu 13.10 to see if that
will work, but currently am just using a hard drive from a different PC
that I installed Ubuntu 14.04 to.
