I really cannot recommend GStreamer as a solution for DVB at this point
in time. GStreamer still seems to have issues playing the HD streams
and a few times I noticed that the audio/video is out of sync.

help. The next things that we need to look at are the tuning parameters
that we are setting.

As of 0.10.0 there is only one engine, the xine one. It's the only one
that we can get to working reliably. Packaging for GStreamer is a dead-
end process unless someone is prepared to get another media player
working with Me TV.

I've fixed this and Markus has confirmed that it's now working for him.
The message is no longer marked as CRITICAL, it's just a MESSAGE like it
should be and I've actually eliminated the cause of the original error
by locking/unlocking the EPG queue mutex every time an event is popped
of the front

his issue was that he didn't have a DVB card.

think that Alexander's issue is that he didn't have a correctly
configured DVB device. Your issue sounds like the device exists but is
being used, possibly by the MythTV backend. Have you shutdown the
MythTV service?

Had the same problem here. I remember adding the "@include common-
pamkeyring" line because I read somewhere that it would stop nm-applet
asking for my passphrase to get the wireless key when I automatically
logged in. It turns out it's better to just login with GDM.

Thanks for the report Vladimir, I can confirm that I get this also.
Some stations get it right, others not. I actually don't know what the
right approach is but it seems irrelevant if some broadcasters don't
follow it anyway. There seems that there's nothing I can do here.

I have never seen or heard of this issue before. I think that the issue
is not Me TV, I think that there's something not right about your
GTK/GNOME setup. The error in the backtrace indicates that
/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libglobalmenu-gnome.so is where the error
manifests itself.
