This bug is completely repeatable for me, everytime I run qGo and try to
observe a new game Xorg crashes immediately.

That fixed the problem! Any further information on what "Composite" is
and why it breaks qGo?

I have the same problem on a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix
on a Dell Inspiron 910 (a.k.a. mini 9).
PNY Optima SDHC 8GB card.
