Running this kernel now and was greeted by another Apport popup. Since I
suspected this to be a leftover from the previous boot, I ignored it. I

is blurry whenever there is motion (this might be a webcam limitation)
but after a few seconds there are also massive framedrops. This results
in a jerky video at best, where the audio is at times complet

Issue is still present on 12.04 beta2 with all updates installed until
April 14. It's becoming a showstopper here for any of my colleagues to
switch to Ubuntu since we (need to) use Spreed (www.spreed.com) almost
on a daily basis. I've coped with it during the 11.10 cycle by using
Unity 2D, but wit
Oh and what's more - the photo itself is not even being used in the
final install (and I cannot find it anywhere either). Should this be
filed as a separate bug?

Just confirmed that it's working on 12.04 after manually installing
libreoffice-presenter-console.
So I've marked this bug a dup of bug 798299.
Boy-oh-boy if only I had known about that bug earlier...

For anyone running into this issue - the package name is libreoffice-
presenter-console. Install it after installing 12.04 and voilà: working
like a charm (once you've set the 'Presentation display' to 'Display 2'
in the Slide Show Settings).
Still, this should definitely be a part of the default
Stéphane, thanks for your comment. So in which screensaver is it used?
Because by default the screen just blanks and when resuming the login
prompt appears. I noticed the photo was not used there either. There is
also no ~/.face (perhaps that is the root issue in this case).

@ Andy - It crashes here as well while installing it on a VM using the
ISO as virtual CDROM. So it's not limited to USB.

When I use CuteCom with my employer's VoIP provider and make a call, the
program works (apart from outgoing audio issues, but that's another bug).
However, when the call ends, the program crashes.

on 11.10. Before noticing sflphone being present in the repositories, I
added the PPA as per http://sflphone.org/download/stable-release.
When starting SFL phone and configuring properly, it actually worke
