Using a card based on the acx100 chipset (such as the D-Link b+ series)
iwconfig does not show the card. The acx module appears to be loaded,
and can be seen using lsmod as attached to usbcore (I'm using the PCI
card)

Sorry - the server has gone down (and seems to have stayed down) when
I was talking to you in IRC about this.
Interestingly, linux-restricted-modules appears to be installed, but
there is nothing in the /lib/firmware/'uname -r'/ directory to do
with acx, I think there may be an issue here...
Just as an aside, I also get this bug, but it looks like disk activity
in general is slow:
time dd if=/dev/zero of=test.zero bs=1024 count=10
