Asix's AX88179 is an USB3.0 based 10/100/1000M gigabit ethernet
controller. They provide a Linux driver at their web site
(http://www.asix.com.tw/products.php?op=pItemdetail&PItemID=131;71;112)
and it works nicely for me. It would be awesome if Ubuntu would include
this driver

Actually I am most interested in the fix for 298281. Without that fix
Valgrind is quite useless for programs using wide strings because of the
enormous number of warnings triggered by this bug.
