the easiest way to fix this issue under hardy would be to package kicad
20080825c-final.
But even in LTS versions there will be no updates for packages like kicad, they
are not important enough.

Binary package hint: adblock-plus
My ePC 701 has a small display and its really hard to select a list I want to
subscribe to and then click on OK.
(I need to enable compiz, create a second row of Desktops and push it down, so
I use a lower desktop to click on ok.)

And this doesnt happen with other operating systems? For me this sounds
like an hardware issue.
Does the system shut down properly or is it just like pulling the plug
and turning it on again?
