I don't see this bug as harmless. From reading the warning, it sounds
like it is reporting a problem which should be resolved. Because it
looks like there is a real problem, at least two bugs have been filed in
Launchpad about it, and others have probably spend time looking for the
"fix" as well.
After a suspend/resume on a T22 on Ubuntu Hardy Heron, This is seen in
/var/log/syslog. All the sound preferences were moved from "Automatic"
to "ALSA"

This bug still persists in Hardy.
I found a solution was to go to System: Administration: Keyring Manager
and delete a key which looked related. After that I wasn't prompted for
the password anymore.
I still consider the bug present because the UI still lies-- it claims
to save the password but a
Upgrade. It didn't happen at first with a fresh install originally,
either. I don't know what the trigger is that introduces the issue, or
if it even a possible condition to trigger if a fresh install of Hardy
is used.

Wireless network keeps reconnecting (ubuntu edgy)
Despite the referenced kernel patch from 6/2006, I still reproduced
this with Edgy and the 2.6.17 kernel.
I'm contributing that fix that has worked reliably for me with Mandriva
on T20 for the last couple years. The Mandriva code is under the GPL,
and I've modified some myself for use with Ubunt
It's a little confusing that there is already a "sound.sh" file in this
directory where the attached file goes. I think the existing "sound.sh"
file should be renamed "alsa-state.sh" to better express what it
actually does, and to be consistent with the suspend script already
named 85-alsa-state.s
Here's the patch to /etc/default/acpi-support to add the RESTORE_SOUND
option.
I hope it's not a problem that these are acpi-support patches, but this
bug is now associated with the linux-source package.

Thanks for the patch. I have it running on Edgy for now. I've run out of
time to test it throughly tonight, but for the first fifteen minutes, I
can definitely say it is working. :)
I want to post the more precise sets I used for the patch and upgrade
process on Edgy, in case someone less
I have now had more time to test the patch on Ubuntu Edgy and can
confirm it works wonderfully. Without it, I experienced a
disconnect/reconnect within a minute.
With it, no disconnects have happened.
