A quick fix for users not wanting to wait for an update or build gmond
manually is to change the gmond.conf to not load the disks module.
Comment out the respective sections of /etc/ganglia/gmond.conf as
follows:

path = "/usr/lib/ganglia/modcpu.so"
}

This bug is now 6 months old but still not fixed. It keeps me from
installing computer vision libraries (i.e., libopencv-dev depends on
libraw1394-dev). Is there anything I could do to help getting it fixed?
