I'm having similar problem. Since I installed jEdit (which requires
openjdk-6), sometimes I can't open it. When this happen, in my home
folder appears a file "hs_err_pidx.log" (x is a number, pid of
Java Virtual Machine I think) for each try to open jEdit.

I have a SiS 761GX board and the symptom is the same. Ubuntu uses by
default an odd resolution to my CRT monitor, 960x600, and 1024x768 isn't

Very old logind versions (< 196) do not support CanHybridSleep method.
In this case g_dbus_connection_call_sync() will return NULL and
