I believe it may be related to the most recent kernel (2.6.32-16), as before I updated to this kernel, I never experienced this issue, but afterwards, I will login from GDM only to have it reset and I have to enter my password again. Sometimes it doesn't even go to the GDM screen, but it shows a TT
