I cannot confirm. The problem was with mp3's having multiple tags written to
them and RhythmBox not
being able to identify that fact. I have not found any program that writes
multiple tags of the
same version to an MP3 file (which was not the issue with RhythmBox);
therefore, I cannot produce

that they would be hdi - hjl instead of hda - hdd. Would work, but is a
dirty solution. I would prefer it if the kernel loaded things in the

Please let me know how you make out with the restricted drivers. Thi
This bug is not resolved in 2.6.22, but an upgrade to 2.6.23 and a quick
edit of the kernel config allows this problem to be worked out. I
followed the following tutorial regarding the kernel upgrade:

Assumedly, so. This is definitely a kernel packaging issue. I think a
good fix would be to dynamically affix the value to CONFIG_IDE_MAX_HWIFS
depending on the devices found (i.e., on-board = 4, PCI card = 4, etc.
for a running total of 8 supported slots in my case). Or, they could

I honestly do not believe that any particular static
CONFIG_IDE_MAX_HWIFS is reasonable if SATA drives are found before on-
board IDE (or, even perhaps, e-IDE cards). I feel the best way for this
to be handled is to take inventory of the hardware when the kernel is

After a series of occurrences, I tried not using Firefox for awhile,
using Chrome, and I had no occurrences of this issue for approximately
two hours. I, then, switched back to Firefox and, almost immediately, I

To tell you the truth, I have canceled my MySpace account (for other

this bug report with no recommended action so long as no one else has
reported the same issue.
Cheers.
