I'm running the native flash 64bit now in Intrepid without
nspluginwrapper. It works great! All the "fail to render" bugs are gone
and large flash files like mint.com, youtube.com, and hulu.com work
perfectly.
May I suggest replacing the almost unusable flashplugin-nonfree in
Intrepid as well?

I still have the same problem actually. The screensaver only works once
per session.
No errors were available in /var/log/(messages|syslog), /var/crash, or
dmesg. I suspect it's not crashing since the process is persisting. Is

I run Totem for about 10 minutes and it crashes. The time varies but it
always happens. I installed debug symbols for Totem and traced the
problem below:

Same problem on 10.04. 'm' opens the indicator applet for messages and
's' opens the status menu. The problem doesn't happen with capital 'S'
or 'M' though.

Restarting the indicator-applet (removing it from the panel and re-
adding it) seems to fix the issue for the current boot.

I can reproduce the problem definitively by running Pandora for about 20
min on latest proposed repos etc. I captured this info from the freeze:
