However, you have a workaround: you can install knetworkmanager and
hidden networks should work for you. Just removed the plasma applet and
start knetworkmanager and you will hvae same functionality as in 8.10.

I have tested this even more. It looks like I can 100% reproduce OOPS
(but with different stack traces) when I use "quiet" boot option. It
seems that "splash" boot option is not an option, as I can reliably boot
without problem if I remove "quiet", but leave "splash" option.

It is slightly better, I was able to get boot after three panics, so it

keyboard.
Restart of kdm solves the problem.
Also, when I run docked, my USB mouse also does not work in KDM login
screen (but touchpad works OK).

BTW, it works if I install gdm instead of kdm: gdm will properly get keyboard
input after reboot (no need to restart).
This may indicate it is not xorg bug, but may be related to kdm (KDE4 package).
